How CVFriendly works?

CVFriendly does not charge you for uploading your CV. We offer a FREE service to everyone. You have to simply register with us and upload your CV and then choose your choice of Job Boards that you want us to upload your CV with, we will do the rest.

No, posting a Resume with CVFriendly is absolutely Free of Cost .

I can’t remember the password to my account. How can I login again?

In this case, click on the ‘Forgot your Password?’ link given towards the right of the Login button on the Login Page. In order to retrieve your account password, you need to enter both your e-mail address and date of birth specified in your resume. Once, you have entered both the fields, a confirmation mail with your password will be sent directly to your inbox.

How can I change the password to my account?

Once you have logged in to your account, you are taken to the page that shows a brief summary of your account. To change your account password, click on the ‘Change Password’ link given towards the left of the page. You would need to enter your old password and specify and confirm the new one. Once you specified and confirmed the new password, a confirmation message will be displayed on the same page.

How can I update/edit my Profile?

Once you have logged in to your account, you are taken to the page that shows the summary of your active Profile. To edit the same, click on the ‘Edit Account’ link given towards the left on the same page. This lets you make the necessary changes in your Profile by editing the relevant sections. It is recommended that you update your Profile regularly. This will ensure that you have greater chances of getting headhunted as an updated profile is what recruiters prefer.

How can I update the contact details on my account?

Once you have logged in to your account, you are taken to the page that shows a brief summary of your account. To update your contact details, click on the ‘Edit Account’ link given towards the left on the same page. Once you have specified all new contact details, click on ‘Save Changes’. This will ensure that your profile now reflects the new details that you have specified.

Who all have access to my Resume?

Once you have posted your Resume, all the recruiters who are registered with CVFriendly can access it. However, you do have an option to decide on the visibility of your resume. If you do not want the recruiters to see your resume, set ‘Make my CV visible to employers’ to NO which is given under your account Settings. Setting the Status to “NO” will ensure that the recruiters no longer have any access to your Resume. Even, if you have selected the ‘NO’ option, you can still search and apply for job vacancies using your account details.

I do not want my current employer to have access to my Resume. How can I do that?

Unfortunately, we currently do not have an option to select companies to whom you do not wish to reveal your resume. You can either hide your resume from all the recruiters or make it visible to all.
